Centrale Nantes in joint 6th place in the L'Etudiant 2017 rankings for French Engineering Schools

The ranking, which includes 168 engineering schools in France is based on three criteria, as indicated in the table below: (1) international openness, (2) industrial cooperation and (3) academic excellence.

U-Multirank 2016/17

U-Multirank is the first world ranking for higher education establishments with performance assessed on an A to E scale according to a plethora of (31) indicators and five categories: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation and regional engagement. The ranking includes more than 1300 higher education establishments worldwide, including 73 in France.

Out of the 73 French institutions surveyed in this year's U-Multirank edition, Centrale Nantes is one of only seven establishments to have achieved a majority of As in two categories:
  • Knowledge transfer: Four As out of eight indicators
  • International orientation: Three As out of six indicators

Also featured in this year's edition were ten performance lists each showing 25 top-performing universities according to a different U-Multirank indicator. Centrale Nantes is ranked 6th global top performer for student mobility.
